SPORTS DIRECT

Concept Development / Key Visual / Typography

Tasked with replacing the title card for Sports Direct’s Youtube game show ‘A Game of Two Halves’ (which would also be used on set during filming), I set about creating a fresh and contemporary design.

Experimenting with the word half, I played with different typographic approaches, and teamed the clean modern look with contrasting retro tactics chalkboard style graphics and photography to create a bold and visually impactful new design.

The visual theme from the title card was then carried over to the graphics for games played by contestants on the show, maintaining brand continuity through the shared imagery, font usage, brand colour scheme, and use of chalkboard graphics.
